Well, now I see the craze over the iPod first hand. I ended up being approved for a Best Buy credit card and splurged on the 20GB iPod (technically only 18.5GB capacity) for my trip.
The past 2 days I’ve ripped countless cd’s (802 songs and counting!) and still have 16.4 GB left. The ability to carry around my entire cd collection as well as having the ability to add my friend’s entire cd collection and have a photo album of everyone under the sun in the palm of my hand just absolutely amazes me. What will they think of next?
You know what my hold up is? I HATE earphones, plugs, or whatever the cool kids are using. I’m also not huge on music anymore. Oh, lord, I’ve turned into my father :(
But you\’re a vidder! Seems like you like music to me. :) Yeah I hate those earphones that come with it, but those earplug style headphones are pretty nifty (IMO). You can buy speakers for it as well as adapters for your car and then you never have to worry about sorting through all those cd\’s ever again, not to mention saved shelf space.
