We arrived in Madrid at 7:30 this morning dead tired from the train ride and not aloud to check in ´til 1:30. Turned out to be a pretty good thing though since we wandered around and found a little grocoery to get some food and then just down the road was the Plaza de España where there were 2 beautiful fountains and benches in the sun. After eating we wandered around some more and found Temple De Debod wich was a little tepmple on top of this hill with the most beautiful view. I can´t wait to upload those pictures.

The interenet in out hostel is free so hopefully I´ll have some time to update more, but there is no way to upload pictures here, and by now I have a TON of pictures. I´m going to keep looking since I did finally buy a new card reader in Paris.
Speaking of Paris, I might do some back dated entries once I have the time. Gotta go now, the Puerto de Sol (Plaza of the Sun) is calling my name.

Melissa,
Hope you two are having the times of your lives. We miss you. Take time once in awhile to post and keep us up-to-date on your adventures.
From the internet, a piece of travel advice:
Here’s a little tip from me to you as an experienced
traveler. Wake-up calls are the worst way to wake up.
The phone rings, it’s loud and you can’t turn it down.
I leave the number of the room next to me.
It just rings very quietly and you hear a guy yell,
“Why are you calling me?”
Then you get up and take a shower. It’s great.
