The last few days I have been on the go nearly non-stop and I think it’s taking it’s toll on me because I’m feeling slightly dizzy and a bit heavy on my feet. The experience was definitely well worth it. I met some wonderful people and had a few nice moments of self reflection. While travelling alone it amazed me that even in a city of this size moments of solituted are not hard to come by and at the same time if you want to go out with a group of people, that is easy to come by as well.
On another note, you might remember me stating that I had made what could be a life altering decision. Well, just a day before I left for my trip I arranged for an interview for a job located here in Chicago. The interview was yesterday and Sabrinia told me that she would call me today with the news if I get the job or not. I feel like the interview went well and now only time will tell. Perhaps it is the waiting that’s causing the dizziness…
It is raining yet again (3rd time on my trip) today, but not too hard so getting around shouldn’t be difficult. I hope to make my way to the Handcock Observatory this afternoon, but the view might not be that clear. Maybe luck will be on my side and it will clear up before I have to leave. My flight leaves around 8:00 so I have a good portion of the day to wait if need be. Well it’s almost time to checkout and the internet clock is counting down with only about a minute left so I’ll have to update when I get home later this evening.
