I can’t believe I’ve done it again. The lack of updates on my side is actually a good thing. I’ve been out and about, exploring and just all around enjoying my time here in Hawaii. I am writing, but more in my own personal journal. In fact, I’m actually writing more now than I ever have and I’ve started sketching some. Not good works of art by any means, but it’s a hobby I’ve meant to work at for years and finallly started doing so… I’m also hoping to take up watercolor painting. One step at a time though. :)

That said… since my last post I had Christmas on the ship, a New Years that was not so great (I was sick), a very fun trip to the Rainforest Zoo in Hilo, a trip to see a Kiluea Volcanoe (no lava though…), I’ve seen whales and lastly, but most importantly met some very fantastic people. I’ve enjoyed it so much that I’m considering switching positions to the Photo Department in order to come back here to Hawaii and this ship. But for this moment, I’m taking it a day at a time and will decide the next move when the time is right.

The great thing about the past couple months is I’ve opened my eyes to the opportunities around me and I’m beginning to see that I have so many doors open. I don’t worry so much anymore what I will do with my life and just let myself LIVE my life. I am feeling more comfortable in my own skin than I have in years. Life is good. I am happy.
