Scotland is a no-go unfortunately. I guess I missed that chapter in “Third Wheel for Dummies” where it explained that your friends are allowed to make up a pretend anniversary at the last minute and then un-invite you. heh. But in trying to keep with my more recent positive outlook I am not going to let this get me into a sulk.

Instead I’m going to focus on the good and continue on with my South America planning. And in the mean time I need to take a vacation soon. Hopefully sometime before Thanksgiving because I haven’t taken one all year and I’m in desperate need of some new surroundings. I’m thinking Seattle sounds good right about now, but if not that then maybe I’ll make my way up to Chicago and with gas going down it might actually be plausible to consider driving instead of flying.
