I am nearly finished with this book because I could NOT put it down! One chapter left and I’ll be finished. It is true what they say… EVERYONE has a story. Chris’s story is a fascinating one left with many blank holes that he himself will never be able to fill in. I can relate to Chris “Alexander Supertramp” McCandless in more ways than I care to admit, but the book serves to remind us to not think ourselves infallible.

It’s been on my mind a while now to take a road trip when I go home and now I’m certain I will. I’m thinking of driving through the Grand Canyon on my way to visit some friends. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do and there’s nothing much stopping me from doing it.

Anyway, it was a good read and I’d recommend it to anyone out there harboring a sense of wanderlust.
